More on Ike

I can’t get over the mass destruction.  Everyone I know I have been in touch with and are doing good.  I expected worse during the hurricane, but less destruction.  It has devastated everything.  It is an awful thing to see ordinary people digging through dumpsters behind grocery stores.  We tried to get gas yesterday, but that was futile.  It was crazy yesterday driving around looking for a place to get gas, milk, bread and meat.  Everyone else was doing the same thing.  I have to say that I am impressed with how well organized everything has been.  I do feel really lucky that we have electricity at moms.  Everyone I know is not so lucky.  I really don’t know if grandma would have survived without it.  Please, if you are reading this, please pray for everyone dealing with this.  Pray for food and electricity and what ever else you can think of! Thank you!
